RTX is seeking a skilled engineer in Cedar Rapids to coordinate test equipment design reviews and develop comprehensive test solutions for manufacturing and service environments. You will design and prototype with mechanical and electrical components, integrating equipment and lab setups for testing, using Python, C#, LabVIEW, and Visual Basic.

What You Will Do

• You will coordinate test equipment design reviews and ensuring the generation of appropriate design documentation
• You will review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in the manufacturing and service environments
• Design and build prototypes with mechanical and electrical components
• You will be utilizing Software skills in Python, C#, LabView, Visual Basic, and possibly others
• Integrate equipment and lab set-up for testing
• Create and release engineering documentation

Qualifications - You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Experience with circuit design
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
• Proven experience with software skills in Python and C# are required
