Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate for an Electrical Engineering role within the Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC). The position emphasizes multi-discipline teamwork on military programs, with responsibilities spanning design, analysis, and support of electronics products for EO/IR and digital/analog systems.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance, and possess experience with lab testing, schematics, and Ethernet/1588.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US government security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Experience documenting test results, repairing electronics, reading schematics, and understanding Ethernet/UDP/1588 protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support EO/IR, digital, analog, sustaining and production electronics.
• Provide digital/analog/FPGA/VHDL design support and product development input.
• Design transistor-level analog/EO/IR ICs using multiple semiconductor technologies.
• Participate in detailed circuit design as a team member.
• Develop configurable digital logic using VHDL.
• Perform functional analysis and verification testing.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot and implement root-cause/corrective actions.
