Job summary

The Judge Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design of electrical, lighting, and fire alarm systems for commercial building projects. This position offers a hybrid schedule with office on Wednesdays and remote work the rest of the week.

You will manage projects, mentor junior staff, perform QA/QC reviews, and collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary design teams to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.

Electrical Engineer | Commercial Building Design (HYBRID)

$130 – 150k DOE

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design of electrical, lighting, and fire alarm systems for commercial building projects.

Qualifications

• 10 years of electrical design experience (strong candidates with slightly less experience considered)
• Experience designing MEP building systems for architectural clients
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong QA/QC, project management, and team mentorship experience
• Stable employment history with demonstrated long-term professional growth

Preferred

• Telecommunications and data communications design experience
• RCDD certification
• PE license
