Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Sr Electrical Design Engineer PE to join our team in Charlotte, NC. You will lead electrical design and project management for multi-family and commercial projects, focusing on power distribution, lighting, and life safety systems.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of engineering consulting experience, strong Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and is a licensed PE. Excellent communication and ability to coordinate with architecture and mechanical teams are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 6+ years in electrical systems design for commercial projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience designing power, lighting, and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage electrical systems for commercial projects.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare calculations and layouts for submissions.
• Coordinate electrical with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Sr Electrical Design Engineer PE (Multi-Family)

We are Seeking an Electrical Engineer with 6+ years of engineering consulting experience. Responsibilities include design and project management of commercial projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit is required, along with strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• 6+ year of Electrical Systems Design of Commercial, Healthcare, Institutional, Industrial Projects
• P.E. Licensed Required
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• Systems knowledge include AC power distribution, interior and exterior Lighting, Fire Alarm and other building support systems
• Proficient in Revit Software, BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of Relevant Codes & Standards
• Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Project Management Experience is a Plus.
