Job summary

Tesla Laboratories is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest design projects in the Puget Sound area. You will contribute to Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build efforts, performing electrical design calculations, and developing technical drawings to NEC standards.

The role involves creating project dashboards using Power BI and Excel, coordinating with NAVFAC teams, and maintaining project schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited engineering college with a 4-year degree minimum.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles and NEC.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design efforts and reporting progress.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design calculations for services, transformers, and distribution.
• Develop drawings using AutoCAD and ensure NEC compliance.
• Create project dashboards with Power BI and Excel.
• Coordinate with NAVFAC stakeholders and manage schedules and budgets.
