Job summary

You will lead design efforts, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with architects, owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality electrical systems.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with PE registration and 5+ years of experience, NEC/building code expertise, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required with PE registration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Design including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, coordination/arc flash studies.
• Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Strong knowledge of Building Codes, NFPA Codes and Energy Codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and balance multiple projects.
• US Citizen and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design effort on large and small projects.
• Handle design schedules and work with team members.
• Interact and work directly with Architects and Owners.
• Conduct preliminary evaluations.
• Prepare various reports and meeting minutes.
• Produce design documents (drawings and specifications).
• Willingness to travel for projects nationally and internationally.
• Design review to assure adherence to applicable codes, company standards and project requirements.
