Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in Charlotte, NC. You will provide technical and design services for electrical projects, producing construction drawings and specifications for power, lighting, fire alarm, and related systems.

You will lead design efforts and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams on a diverse range of project types. The role requires extensive experience, the ability to perform lighting calculations, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical design including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, systems, and grounding plans.
• Proficiency with National Electrical Code, Buildings Codes, and Energy Codes.

Aufgaben

• Participating in the design effort on large and small projects.
• Coordinate with engineering and other disciplines on the project team.
• Provide calculations including lighting, voltage drop, and load calculations.
• Lead discipline design.
• Follow company standards in creation of electrical drawings.
• Provide field support including field verifications for retrofit applications, as-built documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop electrical construction drawings from project scope (exterior/interior lighting, power plans, system plans, fire alarm plans, grounding, details, single lines, riser diagrams, panel schedules).
• Willingness to travel for projects.
