Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on diverse construction projects, producing construction documents and coordinating with architects, owners, and project teams.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with PE registration and at least 5 years of electrical design experience, including power distribution, lighting, and coordination studies. National/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required and PE registration preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, Building Codes, NFPA and energy codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on projects and prepare construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company standards.
• Produce design drawings and specifications.
• Travel for projects nationally and internationally.
