Job summary

SpaceXAI in Mississippi is seeking an electrical engineer to design and activate power systems for advanced facilities and data centers. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to deliver robust power infrastructure and ensure safety and code compliance.

The role offers autonomy, handling multiple projects, and a path toward professional licensure. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in electrical engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience, with PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience on electrical projects, power distribution systems, switchgear, UPSs, or generators.
• PE license is a plus and highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed electrical power distribution systems and specify equipment such as switchgear, UPS units, generators, lighting, and grounding.
• Provide engineering support to technicians for troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers.
• Perform load flow analysis and ensure interfaces with other mechanical/electrical systems meet power budgets.
• Coordinate electrical installations with utilities and ensure compliance with NFPA 70/70E and applicable codes.
