Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a Deployment Engineer to deploy and commission electrical power systems at data center sites. You’ll run testing, verify protection, supervise energization, and hand over to operations with clear documentation.

You’ll collaborate with design and operations teams, identify installation issues, interpret relay settings, and support fault diagnosis at the field level. A PE license or active licensure pursuit is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on accountability through energization and live acceptance.
• Ability to interpret relay settings and diagnose faults on power distribution.
• Experience with electrical subcontractors and testing firms on active sites.
• Willingness to travel to deployment and operations sites up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and commission electrical power systems at data center sites.
• Run equipment testing, protective relay verification, and generator tests.
• Prepare acceptance documentation through to live handover.
• Support reliability of deployed infrastructure and respond to power events.
• Contribute to commissioning checklists and energization procedures.
