Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring an electrical engineer to design data center electrical distribution in the reference design, handling medium voltage to the rack level.

You will run load-flow and short-circuit studies, coordinate with teams, and develop equipment specs for switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway packages. You’ll answer field questions and help incorporate as-built deltas into the reference.

Qualifications

• You've designed electrical distribution for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• You run your own studies and stand behind the settings.
• You've specified and evaluated major distribution equipment.
• Your one-lines are current, correct, and buildable.
• You've supported energization on designs you drew.

Responsibilities

• Engineer data center electrical distribution in the reference design: medium voltage through busway to the rack.
• Run the studies: load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash owned in ETAP or SKM.
• Develop equipment specs: switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway packages evaluated and integrated.
• Support builds: field questions answered same-day, as-built deltas engineered back into the reference.
