Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end deployment and commissioning of electrical power systems across multiple sites. You will own reliability of the live fleet, develop standards, and guide field teams through energization, testing, and handover. Travel up to 50% will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• You’ve owned field deployment and commissioning of electrical systems on data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• You’ve energized and commissioned MV distribution, UPS, switchgear, and standby generation on live or commissioning-phase infrastructure.
• You’ve built electrical commissioning standards, acceptance test procedures, and reliability runbooks for portfolio-level use.
• You’ve led root cause analysis and corrective actions on power events under time pressure.
• You’ve mentored electrical engineers in the field to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and commissioning of electrical power systems across concurrent sites.
• Own operational reliability of electrical infrastructure across the live fleet.
• Develop and maintain commissioning standards, test procedures, and runbooks for MV distribution, UPS, switchgear, and rack delivery.
• Serve as on-site technical authority during switchgear energization and generator tests.
• Enforce electrical reliability standards including protective relay coordination and arc flash compliance.
