Job summary

The Engineering Services Branch of the US Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service seeks a professional to provide architectural and engineering support for planning, design, construction, and related utilities in agency buildings and facilities.

You will assist the project team with technical support on various engineering projects and manage assigned construction projects from planning through to final inspection, ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Professional registration or licensure (EI/EIT/PE) by any state or equivalent.
• FE exam or equivalent required for professional registration consideration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with technical support on engineering projects.
• Manage assigned construction projects from planning through completion.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and agency policies.
