Job summary

The Mosaic Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Technologist Co-op Student for Summer 2027 at the Esterhazy potash mine in Saskatchewan. The role involves supporting critical power systems, field audits, and upcoming capital projects in a hands-on environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or have completed the first year of an Engineering Technology diploma, with the ability to work full-time on-site, travel to sites, and pass required screenings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completing an Electrical Engineering degree or diploma.
• Industrial environment exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical drawing redlines and field audits for power, network, and control systems.
• Assist with switching sequences and lockout procedures during maintenance shutdowns.
• Support major electrical projects (hoist, MCC upgrades, grid expansions).
• Communicate with management, operators, engineers, trades, and contractors.
