Job summary

AECOM has a position available for an Electrical Engineer to strengthen our talented team of engineers and designers working on renewable projects across the United States for the US Energy Practice. The role offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in design and integration of utility-scale renewable and battery storage systems.

Responsibilities

Electrical engineering design work on assigned projects under senior staff guidance.
Develop design schedules and budgets with Project Engineer/Project Manager.
PV and BESS system design including layouts, DC sizing, interconnections for rooftop, carport, and ground-mount.
Energy production modelling and developing construction specifications.
Engineering calculations for NEC, conductor sizing, protection sizing, interconnections, and conduit sizing.
Support development of construction drawings and system cost estimation.
Lifecycle project support from feasibility to commissioning and travel for meetings.
