Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) Programs & Engineering group. The PPTT is a full-scale propulsion plant hardware simulator used to support the Next Generation Training Program and train Navy Sailors who operate the reactors.

You will plan and conduct independent work through the project lifecycle, interface with stakeholders, perform electrical design reviews with suppliers, and support on-site testing at NN L sites and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
• Experience with electrical design reviews and supplier interactions is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Ability to think creatively and work independently or in a group.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct independent work throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
• Perform electrical design reviews with Suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support on-site hardware inspections and testing at Supplier facilities and NN L sites.
• Design, procure, install, test, and maintain the PPTT Test Platform and related systems.
