Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an experienced multidisciplinined engineer to join the PPTT project at Bettis (PA) or Kesselring (NY). The role focuses on designing interactive simulator components and coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders to meet program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical/engineering field with 6+ years of experience
• Master's degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience
• Doctorate in a related field with 1+ year of experience
• Alternatively, currently a Senior Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or RPCO Engineer at the company

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct independent work throughout the project lifecycle
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Perform design/process reviews and technical interchanges with suppliers
• Perform hardware inspections and equipment testing at suppliers
• Review and disposition supplier submittals to validate technical requirements
