STV is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer for the Construction Management Program in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide electrical design work, coordinating with in-house staff and task order engineers.
2. Review construction drawings for compliance with standards and electrical codes.
3. Support construction administration for in-house projects.
4. Prepare electrical estimates and reports for project funding.
5. Assist in defining electrical scope and virtual DSA backcheck appointments.
6. Visit sites to determine as-built conditions and resolve electrical issues during construction.
7. Coordinate with engineers and service providers for power upgrades and modernization projects.
8. Update district design guides based on new code requirements.
9. Research code changes and identify implementation methods.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three (3) years of professional electrical design experience in a public agency, school construction, or large commercial projects.
• Valid California Professional Electrical Engineer Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized college or university.

Additional Information

Salary range: $98,010.59 - $130,680.78.
