Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring judgment from years of designing, debugging, and shipping hardware while we present engineering problems the models cannot yet solve on their own.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong circuit analysis and design tradeoffs.
• Ability to defend component- and system-level decisions.
• Willingness to articulate why an answer is wrong, not only that it is.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems from your practice.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and rate performance.
• Critique model-derived derivations, schematics, and calculations with justification.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and ensure accuracy.
