Innova Solutions in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineer to troubleshoot electronic failures, support production with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies, and drive issues to closure. You will review schematics, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sustained quality.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Electrical Engineer - TUCSON, AZ

Position Type: Full-time (Contract)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Tucson, Arizona

As an Electrical Engineer:

Troubleshoot electronic failures using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies. Support production and supplier issue resolution, perform root cause analysis, and maintain/update technical documentation. Create change documentation (cPDM), present in review boards, and drive issues to closure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in peer reviews.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Digital, analog, RF, or mixed-signal circuit testing/debugging
• Root Cause & Corrective Action
• Manufacturing/test support for electronic assemblies
• Lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, power supplies, etc.)
• Reading schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs

Preferred Skill Set:

• GD&T and technical drawing interpretation
• CAD tools (CREO/ProE preferred)
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude
• Experience with automated tools/machinery
• Knowledge of GFM/GFE repair and refurbishment
• MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word, Project)

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range*: $85 to $90 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
