Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a Data Analyst for a full-time, contract role based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise and data engineering experience, particularly with ETL processes and cloud environments. Responsibilities include supporting data initiatives, maintaining data accuracy, and optimizing AWS jobs. The position offers a pay range of $60-$65 per hour with various benefits available based on eligibility. This role is on a hybrid schedule, with four days onsite weekly.

Responsibilities

• Support data initiatives related to converting 5G mobile data usage to WiFi automatically.
• Capture device authentication behavior when a device connects to WiFi.
• Rewrite ingestion software due to changes in the data feed.
• Maintain high data completeness and accuracy standards.
• Monitor ETL processes for completeness and accuracy.
• Build and automate monitoring around ETL pipelines.
• Work with new datasets and architect ingestion solutions.
• Integrate new data feeds into existing data models.
• Optimize AWS jobs.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Create and maintain team best practices.

Skills

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Mandatory strong SQL expertise
• Proven Data Engineering experience (ETL/ELT, pipelines)
• Experience with cloud-based big data environments
• Solid understanding of Data Lakes vs RDBMS
• Preferably hands-on Data Lake experience
• Proficiency in Python, Spark/Scala, and AWS
• Experience with ingestion, transformation, and workflow orchestration
