Job summary

Jobtailor in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a solid foundation in digital and analog circuitry, PCB layout, and firmware development. You will design, analyze, and test electrical systems used in our product lines, and troubleshoot issues with advanced test equipment.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, and the ability to work independently with guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of electrical design, analysis and testing experience.
• Experience in design and analysis of digital and microprocessor-based circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering theory, principles and procedures.
• Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, multi-meters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Ability to ensure proper PCB layout design.
• Familiarity with power/ground planes, EMI, impedance matching, and transmission line effects.
• Experience developing digital circuitry, including microprocessor architecture and programmable logic.
• Experience designing analog circuitry, including linear/LDO voltage regulators and switching regulators.
• Fundamental understanding of transistor design and analog circuit analysis.
• Good computer skills and knowledge.
• Must meet applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities
