- Perform professional work in research, development, design, testing, analysis, production, construction, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems used in company product lines
- Design new electronic circuit board assemblies according to specifications using proper engineering techniques
- Troubleshoot designs using test equipment and analysis techniques
- Collaborate with engineers to solve technical problems in current manufacturing products
- Research alternate component possibilities to assist with procurement issues
- Create firmware for electrical hardware designed by Bally
- Perform most assignments independently within the scope of defined programs, with direction from senior-level engineers
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering design, analysis and testing
- Experience in design and analysis of digital and microprocessor-based circuits
- Knowledge of electrical engineering theory, principles and procedures
- Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, multi-meters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Ability to ensure proper PCB layout design
- Familiarity with power/ground planes, split planes, EMI, impedance matching, and transmission line effects
- Experience developing digital circuitry, including microprocessor architecture and programmable logic
- Experience designing analog circuitry, including linear/LDO voltage regulators and switching regulators
- Fundamental understanding of transistor design and analog circuit analysis
- Good computer skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or significant equivalent experience
- Must meet applicable regulatory and contractual requirements
- Must consent to a due diligence/background investigation as a prerequisite to employment, to the extent permitted by law
