Job Description

Links Technology is seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer II to join our client's team in Hagerstown, MD. Our client is a leading aerospace and defense firm. This is a five-month contract role offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer II:
  • Design and create advanced aerospace and defense technologies, including mission payloads and electronic systems.
  • Research, develop, test, certify, deploy, and improve products and services throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conceptualize and design new products and processes for fully integrated systems.
Qualifications of the Electrical Engineer II:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and computer-aided engineering tools.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
  • Experience with simulations, functional and logical models, and system analysis.
  • Proficiency with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD, or others.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
  • Experience with Electrical Load Analysis (ELA).
  • Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).
  • Understanding of industry-standard electrical design principles, including model-based definition, component selection, manufacturing, and production processes.
