Job summary

The SeventhHire LLC is looking for an AI-native Electrical Engineer to turn prototypes into deployable alpha hardware for our first design partners. You will own 800V-class DC power systems, SPICE/PLECS simulations, gate drivers for fast-switching, and full lab bring-up from messy prototype to customer-ready product.

You should have 2+ years in power electronics, a systems mindset across electrical/thermal/mechanical domains, and a proven ability to move quickly from prototype to validated

Qualifications

• 2+ years in power electronics and have taken hardware from prototype to validated system.
• Think in terms of electrical + thermal + mechanical systems.
• Build fast, debug faster, and use AI tools (agents/LLMs) in workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own 800V-class DC power systems (SiC).
• Perform SPICE/PLECS simulations and design gate drivers for fast switching.
• Lead full bring-up in the lab from prototype to testable, customer-ready product.

You'll own:

800V-class DC power systems (SiC), SPICE/PLECS simulation, gate drivers for fast-switching, and full bring-up in the lab from messy prototype to testable, customer-ready product.

You're the right fit if you:

• Have 2+ yrs in power electronics and have actually taken hardware from prototype → validated system
• Think in systems electrical + thermal + mechanical
• Build fast, debug faster, and use AI tools (agents, LLMs) as part of your workflow, not as a gimmick.

Bonus: EV / EV charging / solar / battery storage, and side projects like Formula SAE.
