Job summary

LT Technology Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design the electrical distribution system for a FMCG process plant in the Decatur, Alabama area. You will perform power-system studies and coordinate with clients, vendors, and field teams to deliver complete engineering packages.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical System Studies Engineer for process plant distribution systems.
• NEC, UL508A and IEEE standards knowledge for equipment, substation, transformers, 480V panels, MCC and VFDs.
• Cable sizing, conduit sizing, power and control panel design, lighting, grounding, and cable tray sizing/layout.
• Develop engineering information packages, BOMs, drawings, single-line diagrams and equipment arrangements.
• Electrical safety requirements knowledge.
• Develop and lead IQOQ activities.
• Trained in NFPA70E requirements.

• Work as an Electrical Engineer and develop design of electrical distribution system for FMCG process plant

• Collect the required inputs required for developing the required Engineering packages.


• Coordinate with various vendors and site construction team for completion of the design packages.


• Provide support to study the panels for UL508A compliance.

Skills Required:

• Should have worked as an Electrical System Studies Engineer on electrical distribution system for process plants.


• Experienced in LV Electrical Distribution Design Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC.


• Sound Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and IEEE standards pertaining to electrical equipment. substations, Transformers, 480V panels, MCC, VFDs, Distribution panels, Lighting and grounding design.


• Knowledge of Cable sizing, conduit sizing, power and control panel design, lighting calculation, grounding design, cable tray sizing, cable tray layout design.


• Develop Engineering information packages, bill of materials, elementary drawings, single line drawings, equipment arrangement.


• Knowledge on Electrical Safety requirements.


• Develop and lead the IQOQ activities.


• Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.
