Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern to support standard engineering design tasks and project duties in the Transmission & Distribution market. You will assist with documentation, data entry, and presentations while collaborating with lead engineers on various assignments.

The role emphasizes strong communication, analytical skills, and a proactive learner eager to grow within electrical engineering. On-site in Saint Louis, MO, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with standard engineering design tasks and project duties.
• Support data collection, documentation, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing data and proposing solutions.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and respond to general questions.
• Maintain minimum 3.0 GPA; engage in campus/community activities.
