Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an Electrical EIT to contribute to engineering design and client communications under supervision. You will work with experienced engineers to progress projects in the electrical department and gain hands-on experience.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, an EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months, and pursuing P.E. licensure. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with flexibility to work outside standard hours.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• EIT is required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• P.E. licensure pursued or in progress.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively on a team.
• Desire to produce quality work and grow professionally.
• Professionalism and ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to work outside normal business hours as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Engineer power, lighting, communications, and life safety for projects.
• Occasionally onsite visits for construction administration.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with other engineers to advance project progress.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Seek mentorship to ensure successful design and completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
