Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking an Electrical EIT in Fargo, ND. You will perform routine engineering assignments under a mentor, handling power, lighting, communications, and life-safety design for projects. You will communicate with clients and collaborate with engineers to keep projects on schedule and budget.

A BS in Electrical Engineering is required; EIT is required or obtainable within 6 months; pursuing P.E. licensure is encouraged.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• EIT certification required or obtainable within 6 months.
• Active pursuit of P.E. licensure encouraged.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engineer power, lighting, communications and life safety for projects.
• Occasional onsite visits with construction administration.
• Communicate with clients and team to keep on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with engineers to advance project design.
• Maintain schedules and balance multiple deadlines.
• Seek mentorship to ensure design quality and successful completion.
• Other duties as assigned.
