Job summary

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer (EIT) in Austin, TX to support electrical building systems design for commercial, institutional, educational, municipal, and healthcare projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, an active EIT, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NEC requirements. The role follows a hybrid schedule with office and remote days.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical building systems design.
Understanding of NEC requirements and electrical fundamentals.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with electrical design for power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
Prepare electrical drawings, load calculations, panel schedules, specifications, and construction documents.
Perform engineering calculations and analyses under licensed engineers' supervision.
Use AutoCAD, Revit, and related software to develop design documents.
Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams.
Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
Participate in site visits, field observations, and construction coordination.
Support project schedules, cost estimates, quality reviews, and documentation.
Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, clients, consultants, and contractors.
Develop technical expertise and pursue Texas P.E. licensure.
