Job summary
HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer EIT/Coordinator to join the Denver, Colorado office and support the industrial and commercial facilities team. You will perform electrical design and detailed calculations under mentorship, preparing diagrams, schedules, and specifications for healthcare, higher education, data centers, and other facilities.
You will gain experience across electrical systems, instrumentation/controls, and commissioning while collaborating with a wide range of engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical engineering and design assignments under guidance of senior staff electrical engineers.
- Prepare electrical diagrams, cable and panel schedules, electrical site plans, facility electrical power and lighting plans, schematic control diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Conduct field investigations, condition assessments, and startup/commissioning assistance for new and modified systems.
- Participate in engineering work for major projects or multiple smaller complex projects within the discipline.
