Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer EIT/Coordinator to join the Building Engineering Services Group in our Denver, Colorado office. You will perform electrical engineering and design tasks under the mentorship of senior staff, including preparation of diagrams, schedules, and specifications for diverse facilities.

Responsibilities include detailed calculations, field investigations, and startup/commissioning support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration.
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering and design assignments under guidance of senior staff electrical engineers.
• Prepare electrical diagrams, cable and panel schedules, electrical site plans, facility electrical power and lighting plans, schematic control diagrams, and electrical equipment and materials specifications.
• Conduct detailed system calculations, drawing production, project specification editing.
• Assist in startup and commissioning of new and modified systems.
• Project assignments are expected to be primarily in the Colorado/Rocky Mountain area, with occasional travel to other geographies.

Education
