Markon Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineering Drafter to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory's PPTT project at the Bettis site in West Mifflin, PA. Onsite work is required with up to 15% remote capability, and active clearance is required.

The role involves developing electrical schematics and 2D/3D CAD drawings, preparing material lists, and collaborating with engineers. Travel to vendors and shipyards may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active DOE L clearance required or equivalent.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Design and Drafting Technology with related electrical field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update electrical schematics and drawings using CAD software.
• Create and revise detailed and assembly drawings from layouts and sketches.
• Produce drawings in 2D/3D CAD standards.
• Prepare material lists and supporting drafting docs.
• Perform drafting activities based on engineering direction.
• Support PPTT project electrical design activities.
• Research projects and consult with developers for subject-matter knowledge.
• Apply current drafting and design technologies to engineering tasks.
