Job summary

Jobot in Appleton, WI is seeking an Electrical Designer to join an engineering team delivering innovative electrical design solutions for industrial clients.

You will create and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, develop layouts, 1-line diagrams, and assist BIM coordination with Navisworks; collaborate with engineers on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related technical field preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD required.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM software preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Industrial, manufacturing, power distribution, or process industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce one-line diagrams, schematics, lighting layouts, and construction documents.

• Support projects serving industrial manufacturing and process facilities.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate revisions as needed.
