Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking an Electrical Distribution Project Engineer in a hybrid work environment with opportunities to lead and mentor engineers on distribution projects up to 34.5kV. You will collaborate directly with clients to develop solutions, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and drive project outcomes across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, design execution, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program required.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering deliverables for multiple projects.
• Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations.
• Manage data and perform complex engineering calculations.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Lead larger production teams and coordinate multi-discipline activities.
