Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support a diverse portfolio of distribution engineering services and EPC projects across the United States, including hybrid work options. You will collaborate with Project Managers, engineering teams, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery while building the experience needed for larger leadership roles.

You will gain hands-on exposure to scheduling, risk management, client communications, and budget

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, engineering, utility operations, construction, EPC, or related roles.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience supporting client-facing work or coordinating project teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports planning, coordination, and execution of distribution engineering projects, programs, and EPC work.
Assists Project Managers with scheduling, project controls, and financial tracking.
Tracks client communications, priorities, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
Coordinates meetings, agendas, and client reporting across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and decisions.
Develops project management capabilities within a growing utility-focused organization.
Supports proposal development and business growth initiatives.
