Job summary

Chain Electric Company is seeking an operator to work on electrical distribution systems under the Foreman’s direction. You will operate equipment and assist with the make ready process for job tasks, including framing poles and setting poles.

This role requires a valid CDL-B, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work irregular hours in all weather conditions to support the crew and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in related field.
• Available to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Possess at minimum a valid CDL-B license.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to handle physically demanding construction duties in harsh weather conditions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Ability to assist with maintenance of equipment, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform work on electrical distribution systems as directed by Foreman.
• Safely drive and operate company vehicles and power tools.
• Assist with pole framing, digging, setting poles, and wire pulling.
• Load, unload, identify materials and tools.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; remove scrap and waste.
