Job summary

Chain Electric Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to handle a range of contractor equipment and trucks used in construction, maintenance and repair on transmission systems. The role requires operating cranes and various trucks, following safety protocols, and supporting crew tasks in all weather conditions.

Candidates should have at least 18 months of operating experience, a valid CDL-A, and be able to travel and work irregular hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• 18 months as an Operator.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class A.

Responsibilities

• Operate stationary or traveling cranes to position, move, and lift loads.
• Operate trucks of various sizes for loading, hauling and unloading material.
• Comply with safety practices and report unsafe conditions.
• Drive and operate company vehicles and power tools.
• Assist in maintenance, washing, and inspection of equipment.
