Insight Global is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Power Delivery team, providing technical leadership across distribution projects. You will oversee engineering execution, design reviews, and client interactions while mentoring junior engineers in a hybrid onsite role.

The ideal candidate will balance technical engineering work with project coordination, maintaining strong knowledge of distribution systems and utility practices. Local candidates or relocation are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electric utility distribution or power delivery projects.
• Experience with overhead and underground distribution design.
• Familiarity with utility standards and NESC requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design for overhead and underground distribution projects.
• Develop and review calculations, construction packages, specs, and reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and support engineering development.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, field personnel, and clients.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and best practices.
• Perform system studies: load analysis, conductor sizing, voltage drop.
