Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a Detailer Lead - Electrical for our Fort Worth, TX facility to guide the electrical detailing team and ensure install-ready BIM output. You will coordinate with design and modeling groups, drive constructability, and sign off on electrical scope with the general contractor.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of detailing or 4+ years in the field, strong Revit/Navisworks skills, NEC knowledge, and a track record of leading teams on electrical projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 6+ years electrical detailing experience, or completion of electrical trade apprenticeship with 4+ years field experience.
• Hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related BIM tools.
• Experience detailing electrical systems including conduit, cable tray, panels, switchgear, and distribution.
• Familiarity with NEC and local codes and ability to read construction docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical detailing team and constructability efforts on smaller, less complex projects.
• Coordinate with design/modeling groups to minimize model rework and ensure constructability.
• Direct communication on electrical coordination and scope with project teams.
• Provide guidance to detailers and lead final electrical trade sign-off with the general contractor.
• Support design pulls and model development for electrical scope and prep for fabrication.
• Review and QA/QC electrical shop drawings, spool sheets, and models prior to release.
