Job summary

CEC FACILITIES LLC invites applications for a Constructability Detailer in Irving, TX. This full-time role focuses on reviewing electrical construction documents and developing installation drawings to ensure constructability and field alignment with project requirements.

You will collaborate with BIM/VDC, Engineering, Preconstruction, PM, and Field Operations to resolve conflicts, improve installation efficiency, and support project delivery while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Drafting, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered.
1-3 years of experience in electrical construction, detailing, BIM/VDC, or field operations.
Experience with data center, mission critical, or large commercial/industrial electrical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Review electrical construction drawings, specifications, and models for constructability.
Develop detailed installation drawings, layouts, and constructability details.
Identify constructability issues and work with teams to resolve them.
Coordinate with BIM/VDC teams to reflect installation requirements and field conditions.
Support development of detailed plans for conduit routing, equipment installation, and cable pathways.
Ensure details comply with project specs, NEC, and company standards.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to incorporate field input.
