Job summary

Middough Inc. in Cleveland, OH seeks an Electrical Designer to create simple designs that meet client requirements and codes. You will generate plans and isometrics, apply drafting standards, and guide drafters to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have an Associate Degree in a technical field, 5–7 years drafting experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, plus knowledge of NEC and power distribution. The role may lead projects and requires strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit design.
• Associate Degree in a technical discipline or related experience.
• 5–7 years of drafting experience.
• Working knowledge of National Electric Codes and guides.
• Knowledge of power distribution (480V-12kV) and lighting.

Responsibilities

• Generate design and detail drawings including plans, sections, and isometrics.
• Manage and maintain project drawings and documentation.
• Possibility to serve as Project Lead or Discipline Lead on select projects.
• Interact with clients to convey design and scope changes.
• Collaborate with other departments and suppliers for information.
