Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an Electrical Designer III to perform technical activities on assigned projects under supervision of a licensed engineer. You will assist with design, calculations, specifications, and coordination across disciplines while mentoring BIM/CAD staff.

Travel up to 25-30% is expected for site visits and project support. The role requires an electrical background, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or associates in electrical-related field.
• 4–10 years experience as electrical designer or 5–10 years with Master/Journeyman license or 7–10 years as electrician.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Strong verbal and written communication; detail oriented; multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for electrical systems on building projects under licensed engineer supervision.
• Performs code review, lighting calculations, one-line diagrams, branch circuits, fault current calculations.
• Writes and edits electrical system specifications.
• Mentors BIM/CAD Technicians and Electrical Designers; ensures quality control.
• Assists in budgeting, scheduling, and project contracts; coordinates with other disciplines.
