ENFRA is seeking an Electrical Designer who will perform complete electrical design for building projects under a licensed professional engineer. Responsibilities include drawings, code reviews, lighting calculations, and diagrams to meet project budgets and timelines.

This role requires collaboration with owners, architects, and multiple disciplines, plus site visits and ongoing professional development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical or associate degree in electrical-related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as an electrical designer for an engineering or architectural/engineering design firm.
• Electrical Program / Course / Classes at a Community College, plus 1-3 years' experience as an electrician working for an Electrical Contractor.
• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent credential.

Responsabilités

• Designs and prepares drawings for electrical systems for building projects, including code review, lighting calculations, layout, one-line diagrams, and service calculations under supervision.
• Attends meetings with owners, clients, and/or architects; prepares and distributes meeting notes.
• Conducts site surveys to determine existing or proposed conditions.
• Assists the design team in coordinating with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, civil disciplines.
• Accompanies senior staff on site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specs and codes.
• Helps prepare punch lists and project observation reports.
• Participates in training sessions and industry events to update technical knowledge.
• Upholds the company’s owner advocacy philosophy and core values.
