Arlington Resources in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Electrical Designer Level II to prepare detailed drawings for shelter and electrical design, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications. You will translate bid letters and drawings into robust shelter designs, performing essential calculations across AC service, HVAC, energy, and structural areas.

The ideal candidate has a four-year Electrical Engineering degree (preferred) and 2+ years of on-the-job electrical design

Qualifications

Four (4) years Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
2+ years on the job Electrical Engineering/Designing experience.
AutoCAD or Revit experience required.
Technical ability in the Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical fields.

Responsabilités

Provides a wide variety of detailed drawings for the shelter and electrical design and is responsible for their accuracy.
Breaks down information obtained from the bid letter, customer specifications, and customer supplied drawings to do shelter design.
Makes a variety of calculations (AC service, HVAC, energy, and structural, etc.) following standard procedures.
Prepare work orders (detailed BOM) while drawings are in progress.
