Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Duffield, VA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer responsible for shelter drawings and electrical systems. You will prepare detailed drawings and perform calculations for AC, HVAC, energy and structures, contributing to complex projects and working with bid specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shelter and electrical drawings for projects.
• Interpret bid letters and customer specs to guide design.
• Perform calculations for AC service, HVAC, energy, and structure.
• Prepare work orders and BOMs during drawings.
• Contribute to high-complexity projects.
• Complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Assist other designers as needed.
• Provide technical assistance to factory staff, sales, or customers.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
