Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks Electrical Engineers and Designers to design, document, and deliver electrical building systems for diverse environments. Responsibilities include calculations, design reviews, and coordinating with project teams to meet client needs.

Applicants should have a relevant engineering degree and FE exam prospects; Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu is preferred. This role supports business development and site visits while fostering a collaborative, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 1 year of relevant experience or 4 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.
• Additional certifications aligned with the field (e.g., BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, RCDD) preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares design documents, system layouts, drawings, and schematics under supervision.
• Assists with engineering calculations and basic design tasks.
• Supports review of shop drawings for conformance and participates in field verification.
• May participate in business development or pursuit activities and attend client or industry events.
• Visits job sites for observation and professional development opportunities.
• Develops proficiency in industry-standard software such as Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office.
