Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Designer II to design intermediate building systems and prepare design documents in coordination with project teams.

You will mentor less experienced designers, assist in business development and collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers on design and execution. Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu is required, with a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field; 3+ years of experience or 6+ years with a high school diploma.
• FE exam completion preferred.
• Certifications in sustainability (eg LEED) preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu; ability to learn and apply Henderson design guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design intermediate building systems and prepare design documents.
• Coordinate with project teams and mentor junior designers.
• Support business development and client relationship activities.
• Communicate with clients and architects; visit job sites to verify conditions.
