Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a CAD/BIM drafting professional to support prefabrication drawing efforts across multiple sites. The role involves creating underground duct banks, electrical room layouts, IT/data room layouts, and seismic/bracing layouts, using Revit and related plugins.

The candidate will read and modify designs, prepare precise plans, and collaborate with project managers to improve installation efficiency.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NEC and applying NEC rules to design documents.
• Ability to read and interpret construction/building designs.
• Must collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to commute to remote job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and site leadership to determine prefabrication scope.
• Gather data from job sites for fabrication drawings and revisions.
• Read, interpret, and modify designs.
• Prepare clear, complete fabrication drawings from sketches and contract documents.
• Work with Revit and Evolve plugins for fabrication drawings.
• Use Navisworks for BIM reviews and Bluebeam for assembly drawings.
• Assist with project estimates in Accubid Anywhere.
• Travel to job sites as needed and assist with installation.
