Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced draftsman to create detailed prefabrication drawings and layouts including underground duct banks and electrical room layouts. You will read and modify designs, collaborate with project teams, and prepare complete fabrication drawings for field installation.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam is required, along with 4 years of related trade experience and OSHA 10. Some travel to remote job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical electrical degree preferred.
• Four years of related trade experience.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience.
• OSHA 10 construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Project Managers to determine feasible prefabrication scope.
• Assembles data to complete fabrication drawings from site information.
• Reads, interprets, and modifies designs for fabrication.
• Prepares clear fabrication plans and detail drawings from sketches or documents.
• Works with Revit and Evolve plugins for fabrication drawings.
• Uses Navisworks for BIM reviews and Bluebeam for drawings.
• Performs project estimates in Accubid Anywhere.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
