Job summary

Augment Professional Services (APS) seeks a CAD/BIM designer with 2–4 years of experience in electrical drafting. You will develop constructible layouts, installation drawings, and detailed schematics, coordinating with field teams to ensure accurate, build-ready designs.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency (2D required; 3D preferred) and the ability to read P&IDs, site plans, and electrical drawings. Strong attention to detail and teamwork across multidisciplinary groups are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of CAD drafting or technician experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (2D required; 3D preferred).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, site plans, and schematics.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce constructible layouts and installation drawings for electrical projects.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure alignment between design and build.
• Interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and specs to create accurate CAD models.
